CaddyTips Pebble Beach Playing Guide Flyovers - New
Great course knowledge has always been at the heart of CaddyTips®. Our playing guides bring together valuable tips, strategy, and local knowledge from the caddies who know these courses from years of experience.
Now, we’re adding another dimension to that experience: hole flyovers.
The new flyovers give golfers a visual way to understand each hole before they play it. They’re designed to complement the information already found in our playing guides — helping you see the shape of the hole, understand the layout, identify key features and visualize the shots and decisions that matter.
You’ll find the flyover within each applicable hole in the playing guide, giving you another way to take in the course and prepare for your round.
And there may be no better place to showcase this new feature than Pebble Beach Golf Course Tips.
Taking a Look at No. 7 at Pebble Beach
Our first featured flyover takes you to the iconic 7th hole at Pebble Beach — a short par 3 that can demand anything but a simple shot. The hole measures just 106 yards from the standard back tee, but its exposed location at Arrowhead Point means wind and conditions can dramatically change the shot.
That’s exactly why a visual look at the hole can be so valuable.
The flyover gives you another perspective on the hole before you ever stand on the tee. You can see the relationship between the tee, green, surrounding hazards and the ocean, while the accompanying CaddyTips® information provides the strategic context behind how to approach the hole.
That combination is what makes this new feature so exciting.
Another Way to Access Caddie Knowledge
Our goal with CaddyTips® has always been to take the valuable information provided, sourced and created by caddies and make it accessible to golfers in a practical, easy-to-use format.
The flyovers build on that premise.
Instead of simply reading what a caddie recommends, you can now see the hole while you’re learning how to play it. It gives the playing guide another layer and another method for understanding the advice — whether you're preparing for your round at home, reviewing a hole before you play it, or simply getting familiar with a course you've always wanted to experience.
And with Pebble Beach, there is plenty to learn. The resort's own caddie program emphasizes detailed course knowledge, including yardages and green reading, as an important part of the caddie experience.
