Here is a snippet from the Silverado South CaddyTips®

Hole 1 - The Oak Opener
Mature oaks frame the welcome

Par 4 - 371 / 361 / 352 yds.

Tee Shot
Welcome to the Napa Valley's premier golf course, which has hosted the PGA Tour and Champions Tour countless times. Keep your eyes peeled for Johnny Miller, who frequently hangs out here and has helped reconstruct both courses.

CENTER to RIGHT-CENTER fairway is the target. Two LARGE BUNKERS guard the right side; a LARGE TREE on the LEFT will block your approach if you miss left. Carry the right bunkers: 275 Blue (270 White). Where to miss: right of the bunkers —wider grass landing area there. Avoid: the left tree complex —even a fairway shot from the left side leaves you scrambling. Pro tip: per the resort itself, a tee shot favoring the right gives the best angle to the green; left of center brings the oaks into
play for the second shot. Low handicap: driver carrying the right bunkers for short-iron in. Mid handicap: 3-wood right-center. High handicap: hybrid right-center. CaddyTips® always recommends that the last couple of swings you take on the driving range should be practicing this tee shot and visualizing your success.
