Here is a snippet from the Dad Miller Golf Course CaddyTips®

Hole 1 - STRAIGHT, DRIVEABLE FOR BIG HITTERS
No fairway bunkers · wide fairway

Par 4 - 324 / 304 / 288 yds.

Tee Shot
Before you head to the first tee, CaddyTips® recommends checking out the hole location and green complexes on the 9th and 18th holes, which are near the clubhouse. In Anaheim, the prevailing winds—especially during peak morning and afternoon playing times—blow from the West/Southwest off the Pacific Ocean. That means this hole will generally play into the wind. The air is much thinner here than on the coast, so you can expect your normal yardages. The target is the green on this short, straight opening hole. The fairway is wide, and big hitters have a chance of driving this green. There are no fairway bunkers or trouble to worry about. All players: swing free. Mid/high handicap: 3-wood is plenty if you choose not to hit driver; this is a settling-in hole. CaddyTips® always recommends that the last couple of swings you take on the driving range should be practicing this tee shot and visualizing your success.
