HOLE 1 - DOUBLE PLATEAU
Doak's favorite opener he's ever built

Par 4  -  341 / 304 / 275 yds.

Tee Shot
An incredible tribute to C.B. Macdonald, this beautiful and rugged design gives you a heavy dose of link-style golf right out of the gate. The massive fairway has a bunker that guards the right rough. There is plenty of room out to the left, with no bunker protecting the left rough. Even when the wind is down here, it will affect your tee shot, playing downwind during the Spring/Summer months and into the Fall/Winter months.

Low handicap: long hitters can aim at the "Ghost Tree" in the distance, which will carry the bunker roughly 265 yards in the air. This will give you the choice to hit a full lob wedge to a front pin location or a half-wedge shot to the back pin location. Mid-High handicap: nice wide fairway to get the driver working early. If you have a tendency to miss big to the right, there is plenty of room to aim left.
