Tee Shot
Before you begin your journey at Persimmon CC, CaddyTips® recommends checking out the unique double green of #9 and #18. Take note of the subtle two-tiered design and the pin placements. This will help you conceptualize your approach shots on these holes.
Placement is a theme on this golf course, and the first tee shot is no different. There are no fairway bunkers to negotiate here, but the right side is well-guarded by trees and a steep hillside and is to be avoided at all costs. Left-center is your target, and the elevated tee box will result in your tee ball carrying at least an extra club. Make sure to gauge the wind too, as this hole can play downwind adding to the extra carry of your tee shot.
All players: Emphasis is on placement, not distance. Select a club that gives you the most confidence to hit the fairway and take dead aim.
