Here is a snippet from the Presidio Course CaddyTips®

Hole 1 - The Warmup
Short dogleg right — driver brings trouble
Par 4 - 362 / 354 / 335 yds.

Tee Shot
Don't let this short opening hole deceive you. Placement is key as this hole is hard to overpower. Ideal target: dead-center. Carry numbers: from Black, a 235-yd shot (225
White) clears the fairway bunker guarding the inside right corner. Theis shot plays a bit downhill but should not affect your club selection. Aggressive line: work a fade around the corner—but it's easy to drive THROUGH the fairway into OB LEFT. Avoid: the driving range on the left (yellow range balls —
DON'T tee up a yellow ball on Hole 1). Where to miss: short of the bunker, center. Low handicap: 3-wood or long iron — driver is overpowered here. Mid handicap: 3-wood down the middle, leaves a wedge in. High handicap: 5/7-wood or hybrid for an easy mid-iron approach. Remember that the air is thick in the Bay Area, so expect your ball to travel 5-7 yards less. Do not expect a lot of roll either, all shots should be played to carry yardages. This tee shot will typically play cross-wind from the prevailing ocean breeze, so keep that in mind as well. CaddyTips® always recommends that the last couple of swings you take on the driving range should be practicing this tee shot and visualizing your success.
