Hole 1 - The Drop • Downhill Dogleg Left
Elevated tee, false-front green

Par 4 - 402 / 387 / 367 yds.

Tee Shot
Settle into a beautiful and fun round of golf. The air is thin and relaxing in the Ojai Valley so your shots will travel a bit farther. But if the the predominant wind is present, it should try to knock your ball down on this tee shot. Favor LEFT-CENTER from this extremely elevated tee. Hole doglegs off the tee - shorter shots come from the left side. Large fairway bunker through the dogleg can be reached with 292 Blue (277 White). Avoid the eucalyptus trees right. Low handicap: driver down the left works. Mid/High handicap: 3-wood for accuracy and an easier angle for approach. CaddyTips® always recommends that the last couple of swings you take on the driving range should be practicing this tee shot and visualizing your success.
