For instance, a course with several long par 3s would have a General Tip saying to practice your long irons prior to your round.

    Tee shot: An accurate tee shot is necessary to avoid the 6 bunkers in the fairway. The small pot bunker in the center of the fairway sits 255 yds. from the TPC tees, 225 yds. from the blue tees and 180 yds. from the white tees, either hit it short of or past this distance. If you try to drive the green stay right to avoid the water.

    Approach shot: Shot will play the yardage to this slightly raised green. The back portion of the green is extremely narrow, if the pin is here shoot to the middle. The green slopes back to front and slightly right to left.
