Here is a snippet from the Coyote Creek Tournament Course CaddyTips®

Hole 1 - Two-tiered and open
Creek bisects the fairway
Par 4 - 431 / 398 / 384 yds.

Tee Shot
Plays LEVEL on this straightaway opener. Target LEFT-CENTER fairway — a shot missing right may find trouble. The fairway is bisected by a creek that sits 290 yds. from Black (255 Blue / 240 White). The hole generally plays DOWNWIND, so the distance to the creek will likely play shorter than the yardage suggests. All players: club for the wind, not the yardage. Long hitters: downwind, the creek is in play — 3-wood may be the smart shot. Mid/high handicap: aim left-center and short of the creek. CaddyTips® always recommends that the last couple of swings you take on the driving range should be practicing this tee shot and visualizing your success.
